The  Annual Conference, also known as KATS KAMP, is the main event of the Kansas Association of Teachers of Science.  This 2022 event is planned to resume the "in-person" format which was suspended in 2020 and 2021 on account of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The main features of the event are:

  • opportunities to network with fellow science teachers
  • dozens of timely professional presentations
  •  nationally recognized speakers
  • displays by equipment and textbook vendors
  • award presentations
  • election of officers for upcoming year.
If you are a science teacher in the state of Kansas or are preparing to be a science teacher, you will find ideas to improve your teaching and motivation to improve professionally.  More event details are available on the 2022 KAMP page.  Registration is now open.   The registration process continues at the bottom of this page.  (You are encouraged to check your membership status before registering and to renew if necessary.  Your membership status is displayed when you log in to the web site. )
